As I write this, we’re sitting in the shade just off the beach near Puerto Jimenez, Costa Rica. This jungle setting is a must-do for any visitor to Costa Rica. It’s harsh, but it’s fantastic. It’s been an illuminating experience for us.

It’s National Coming Out Day.
Our biggest goal while in China was to film an It Gets Better video at the Great Wall. We were eager to, from an awesome place, lend our voices to the chorus of people reassuring bullied, hopeless youth – particularly in the LGBTQ community – that their current struggle will pass. Read more
The smartest thing we did in Beijing was getting out of our posh hotel and moving into a traditional residential area. Sure, the fancy hotel had us about as close as we could be to the major tourist attractions, but it certainly didn’t give us an accurate feel for how the city pulses and moves. Read more
The other night we got into a big conversation with some locals in Beijing, China. It’s stuck with us.
Our new friends were expressing their frustration over government mandated web censorship. Most irritating to them? The fact that they can’t (legally) visit sites like Facebook and Twitter. Weird to think that happens, isn’t it? Read more
As I write this, our time on Maui isn’t quite over, and we’ve already snapped hundreds of pictures. It’s overwhelming to sit here clicking through them all because it’s a reminder of how incomprehensibly magnificent and diverse this island is. Such a small place yet so much to see, do and experience.
