April/May were actually a double-whammy of goodness. Not only did we get to work with a very favorite client on a very favorite initiative, we got to share our very favorite destination with a very favorite group of people.
I know, that's a lot of "very favorite" going on. Just take it all in for a second.
Not long after returning from Florida and the associated Disney goodness, we found ourselves in the final lead-up to something that we've been planning for over a year. A travel writers' summit that would include not only the Expedia Viewfinder team but also attendees from around the globe.
We informally proposed the idea to our Montana tourism pal / PR maven, Tia, in February 2015. Then, we formally announced the initiative in April 2015 (at a similar event on Maui).
While another exciting opportunity meant we could only attend the opening of the Summit, we were thrilled to be able to welcome everyone and to be able to enjoy a few days in Missoula with the entire crew.
Check out some of the action. And you can find more inspiration from all attendees here.
As I hit "publish" on this, our world continues to change in exciting ways. We can't wait to more fully report out on this (and other recent events) in a thoughtful manner.
In the meantime, keep an eye out for our next podcast series. It's on Change, a topic that is top-of-mind for us, as several years of planning and gradual change are culminating in what we're calling NVR 2.0.
