Yesterday we had a big win in our work world, so today we are working a very short day.
We're going to go and do who-knows-what to celebrate.
We're reinvigorating our attempts to take time out to honor when things go well. Over the last few years, we've found that it can become easy to gloss over achievements in the interest of bolting toward the next one.
If you don't stop to pat yourself on the back for what you've accomplished, you're fostering a cycle of delayed fulfillment. Then, only when you crash from pushing to hard (or from a defeat) will you realize how many wins you flew past along the way.
The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate. –Oprah
