Our "getting outside first thing every day" series of experiments is going very well!
Why, you ask?
Because we've attached a reward to it
What reward, you ask?
Coffee. Of course.
The habit is cemented. We're walking about 2 miles first thing every morning and attaching it to getting our morning coffee.
–No tech first thing in the morning.
–No work first thing in the morning.
–Oxygen first thing in the morning.
–A low key exercise sesh first thing in the morning.
