We talk a lot about leaving space in life for new ideas to enter into your realm.
If your always on the go or always tapped out, you're less likely to "hear" the call of what's out there waiting for you.
For a long time now, we've been experimenting with different ways of ensuring that – even if we're "busy" – that we take time to slow down so that there's a way for the new thoughts, new ways of thinking, etc. to enter in.
Today on a simple, quiet Idea Walk (as we call them), the creative juices were flowing. And there was lots of stopping to take notes. It happens all of the time, actually, and leads to some of our best life decisions.
Interested in making space for the new? Things to consider:
–Is there breathing room in your life?
–During what day-part are you at your most energetic / productive?
–What's happening when you are best able to tap into your creativity? Are you indoors? Outdoors?
"Nothing time" is often the most productive time there is.
