A lot of the work we do revolves around asking people to take leaps – to try something new in the interest of making something (an outlook, a process, a system) better.
Recently, we had the realization that – with a pretty well-oiled life – we don't have the need to take a lot of those kinds of leaps. When we were transitioning into this no vacation required lifestyle, it was leap-overload all up in here.
Now, not so such.
Anyhow, that realization was brought to light when some people we really respect directed us to a class that we might like. Digging into the content of the class, we realized that it would be a huge leap for us.
Honestly, we were immediately turned off by the idea of the class and had no interest in taking it.
Based on our subsequent ah-ha, though, we decided that we needed to take a leap. The basic idea of the class resonates with us deeply (it's "in our pocket"); it's just that everything after that is a stretch for us.
We're going for it. Who knows what might happen.
Stay tuned for details. Lots will come, as this is going to be a month-long journey.
