The other day a friend was asking us to help her snag a decent airfare home. A friend of her mom’s was having surgery, and our friend was thinking she should be there to offer additional support.
This particular friend is a ball of stress 99% of the time. The last thing she needs to be doing is worrying about someone else during her valuable time off.
If you can’t take care of yourself, you’re not in a great position to help friends/family in need.
No, that's not selfish. It's smart.
When do you overlook your own well being in order to look over someone else's?
