Fresh off the plane from Montana, we're gearing up to turn right around to head to New York City.
This journey was born of our need to meet with one of our HR consulting clients. Since we're going all out for giving back this month, we decided to schedule our client visit to coincide with the once-a-year, cornerstone event of a charity we've come to love, Broadway Cares.
As we mentioned in an earlier post, the event, Broadway Bares, is a burlesque extravaganza that raises awareness and money in the fight against AIDS. We've been doing some advocacy for them and are now eager to check out this annual event for the first time.
It doesn't hurt that we know people who are performing. The question is whether or not we'll be able to look at them in the same way after seeing them nearly naked.
We'll let you know.
We also have a couple other fun things going on while we're in the city.
The point is... This is our favorite way to travel. When we can combine pieces of a few things that are important to us, we're happy guys. A solid balance of activities ensures that we're keeping the things we're passionate about well oiled.
We strive to keep things in sync and dynamic at home and on the road. That way, our location doesn't matter because we're not "missing" anything.
It's liberating to feel the freedom that comes with that.
Since we're now posting daily thoughts/tips on maximizing life/travel/work, there's no need to leave a comment. Instead, please pop in your best advice over on this page. Thanks!
