With the great news coming out of the Supreme Court this week surrounding DOMA and Prop 8, we wanted to be sure to post a Tumblr-ish update.
We're thrilled that our marriage equality in Washington State has now blossomed into marriage equality at the federal level. We'll be very anxious to get our hands on all the details once our government figures out how in the heck they're going to do it.
While we wait for the particulars, it's time to celebrate.
Bottom line... We're so pleased that we can barely believe it's all true; it feels strange to finally have something you've been yearning for. While still not perfect, we recognize the importance of celebrating wins along the way.
It just so happens that we're in San Francisco for a concert. Music is a big – and way under-discussed – component of our world, so we wanted to make sure to see a few of our favorite performers during this Ultimate Honeymoon year.
It's also LGBT Pride weekend here in San Francisco, so it's set to be one heck of a festive few days. We may even stay up late a time or two.
So, we just wanted to say we're very happy. More than that, though, we're grateful. Grateful to be able to live a life full of freedom and choices. We're resolute in our commitment to living maximized lives while, at the same time, easing the conditions for those around the globe who don't have the same luxury.
Thanks for being in our world!
