Where to Stay in Seattle

NVR Guys

When we decided we wanted to do some kind of Celebrate Seattle contest – the capstone event in our year long focus on (uh, obsession with) Seattle – it wasn't too tough for us to select the perfect hotel to partner with. After very little pondering and research, we knew just which property to reach out to. Yes, the swankification of Kent and Caanan.

We consistently have a great experience whenever we are fortunate enough to stay at a Four Seasons in our travels. With their reputation in the industry, it's no surprise that they tend to do things right more often than the competition.

Even cooler, when we reached out about the giveaway we wanted to do, they were excited to join forces. They love Seattle as much as we do.

Although we were quite familiar with the property, they invited us in for a stay. We jumped at the chance to have an even closer look under the hood.

We love that, upon entering, you immediately feel the welcoming, relaxed Pacific Northwest vibe. Unique design elements across the property capitalize on the hotel's prime location in Seattle.

The warmth extends to the staff members, who are unfailingly kind and service-oriented without being too invasive. Their dedication to providing a top-notch experience is remarkable. Moreover, they work hard to connect guests with the personality of the city. Check out our room (yes, we could watch ferries drift across the bay), and the cool Seattle-centric welcome surprise.

The attention to detail and personal touches are evident around every corner. The fitness center is well equiped and even offers gatorade.

The spa is an uber-relaxing environment – complete with a eucalyptus steam room and all of the doodads you could possibly want.

Our favorite place to hang was the pool deck where guests can relax and watch the dramatic weather that Seattle is famous for.

For us, the on-property restaurant, ART, is a real winner. It's a place we regularly take company and meet friends. Again, it's completely accessible and inviting – no need to dress up unless you want to. The happy hour – especially the all-you-can-eat Cheese and Antipasto Counter – is a must do for every person who lives or sets foot in Seattle.

Before leaving, we found one last personal touch waiting in the lobby. Coffee (the good stuff!) and a little morning snack.

A big thanks to Four Seasons Seattle for partnering with us. Be sure to comment on our Celebrate Seattle post to be entered in the giveaway. You have until 31 December, and the winner will be announced on 1 January.

We can't wait to share Seattle with one of you!
