Celebrate Seattle Giveaway

Imagine this.

You wake up in Seattle. Looking out your hotel room’s window, you see a layer of light fog beginning to drift away. Somehow, contrary to what you conjured up before arriving, the dramatic clouds and light rain fit the setting. You see ferry-dotted Elliott Bay in front of you, and the more-impressive-than-you-imagined Olympic Range in the distance. It’s unique. It’s perfect. 

Contemplating the day ahead, you sigh and kick yourself for not listening to the NVR Guys’ gushing sooner. You’re quickly starting to *get* Seattle, and you can’t wait to head outside to start exploring.

You no longer have to imagine this scenario!

During 2012, in honor of 5 years of our NVR lifestyle, we decided to give our home-base a lot of air time. Let’s just say we’ve been celebrating Seattle in a big way. Now, as the year draws to a close, we want to share Seattle with you.

 We’re giving away a 2-night stay in Seattle.

When we thought about where we’d like our winner to stay, it wasn’t an easy decision. Seattle has a lot of accommodation options to suit all sorts of budgets. Considering this is a bit of a splash out moment, though, we quickly came to the conclusion that there would be no better place for our winner to stay than (drum roll please…) Four Seasons Seattle. Only the best for our readers.

When we approached Four Seasons Seattle about our idea, they jumped at the chance to partner. Turns out, they’re as enamored of Seattle as we are. More on that in a future post. For now, you just need to know how to win the 2-night stay. It’s easy to participate.

We’ll use random.org to select the winner, who will then book his/her 2-night stay directly with the hotel (subject to availability). Our family members, people under 18 and employees of Four Seasons are unable to participate. The contest will run until 31 December 2012, and the winner will be selected on 1 January 2013 (watch Twitter on that day). What a way to start the year!
