Hometown Pride
A few weeks back, our buddy – and neighbor in the hood – sent us a selection of photos that he has snapped around the Seattle area.
As if we weren’t ready enough to get back to home base after our great road trip, these shots got us jonesing for a Seattle fix. Check ‘em out!
And travel fanatics please take note… Doug isn’t merely our friend. As a pilot, he’s one of the people that makes all our travel dreams a reality. Thanks for the photos, Doug, and thanks for what you do up in the air.

Pretty shots!! Loved them all, especially the first one.
A very beautiful place indeed.
Have a wonderful weekend Guys:)
We both love the first one too. That view is just down the road from us on our running route. Lucky, or what!
Asked you on twitter! Asking you here again, what is that Tower in the 2nd pic… Looks pretty similar to the Tokyo Sky Tree I saw in Japan a few weeks ago!
Great photos of a great city! I especially like the one with the girl on the beach and the blurry city behind her.
Our friend takes good photos, doesn’t he? By the way, that’s Doug’s daughter.
Doug is such a wonderful photographer — I love these photos!
Does seeing that Space Needle make you want to bungee off?
These are incredible shots! They make us so grateful to live in such a beautiful and diverse city. Welcome home you two! Let’s brunch!
Name it!
It’s hard to take a bad picture of the space needle. That livens up any image.
Idea! Why don’t you come out for another look.
Seattle is SO high on my bucket list. My husband might actually get transferred there for his job, and I would love that. Beautiful photos!
Your new job = making that transfer happen
Lovely indeed! And those places are all quite familiar. We do live in a great place!
We never tire of seeing these things.
Looove Seattle. Seriously, it’s very high up on my list of places I might want to live for a few years after I’m done with school.
I don’t think we can all be in the same town. Trouble.
These photos are great!
Love the railway track photo, but they are all great your friend is very good.
And of course, Seattle is the most beautiful city in North America. That may be my hometown bias, and your photos have gotten me a little home sick in Italy. I’d love to feel comfortable weather again. Awesome shot from Alki!
And the weather has been fantastic (while the rest of the country is suffering in brutal heat). No complaints.
